Nissan is a Leader in Electric Mobility
Are Electric or Hybrid Vehicles Better?
Battery power in recent years has allowed vehicles to become more efficient than you may have ever imagined. If you are considering getting a vehicle with electric capability, now is a great time to do so, with so many options coming available on the market.
That said, it’s important to understand that there are different options available to you. From hybrid to fully electric, there are vehicles with just the right amount of battery-electric power to suit your driving needs and style.
Hybrid models, for example, are great for those who aren’t ready for a fully electric experience. They contain an electric battery, but they also have a fuel tank. Using an electric motor and gasoline engine together, hybrid models offer an efficient driving experience while still allowing you to drive a gasoline-powered vehicle like you are used to.
Purely electric models are different. These are models that are powered only by an electric battery and must be charged rather than filled up with fuel. They can be charged at home or at a public charging station, and you don’t need to stop for gas ever again.
Nissan’s Electric Lineup
Electric mobility may be new to many automakers out there, but it’s not new for Nissan. Nissan has been a leader in electric mobility for years, producing the fully electric Nissan LEAF since 2010.
Today’s Nissan LEAF, starting at an MSRP of $28,040 for the 2023 model, features a range of up to 212 miles and boasts 121 MPGe. The latest addition to Nissan’s electric lineup, however, is the Ariya SUV. It starts at an MSRP of $41,390, is fully electric and has a range of up to 304 miles.
