Have we already gotten a look at the next Nissan GT-R?

Speculation is a key part of the automotive industry. With car companies making it more and more difficult to find solid information on a particular upcoming vehicle, there is always room for the “expert” out there to speculate. And the more secretive the auto companies are, the more speculation that happens. As you can see, it can easily become a vicious cycle. The Nissan brand is certainly not immune to this. And while we try not to speculate too much, we feel we are in a better position than most to provide Nissan information – being that we are a top-notch Seattle Nissan dealership.

What will the next-generation Nissan GT-R look like?

One of the recent topics that has been a hotbed of speculation for many is the question of what the next generation Nissan GT-R will be all about. While solid information is hard to come by, it’s safe to say that the GT-R is probably due for a decent refresh soon. And around the same time that this talk has been going on, we’ve been shown a concept vehicle from Nissan, dubbed the Nissan Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo. Sleek and incredibly cool, we can’t help but wonder if this will be the new GT-R, in some form. After all, they can’t stick with that name, right?

The lines on this new 2020 Vision Gran Turismo concept are impossible to ignore. They could be described as sleek, but there are also some very defined lines that make you believe that the car means business. The car was unveiled recently in Goodwood, so there are some decent images of it floating around now. And if you want to check it out in 3D, hit play on the video at the top of the page (You will need your 3-D glasses).

While we can’t wait to see what the next generation GT-R will be, we have to say that it would be just fine with us if this was in fact it right here. As always, only time will tell us for sure. But be sure, we are on watch.
