Spotlight on Nissan's Most Popular Vehicles
Nissan has remained one of the more popular car brands in the United States for many years, thanks to its consistently reliable lineup of cars. The 21st century has seen Nissan’s popularity grow, and for good reason: the car line-up has continued to improve as time has gone on. We’ve found the top three most popular Nissan vehicles, which you can discover more about below.
Nissan Rogue
The Rogue is one of the newer models in the Nissan lineup, and has quickly become one of the most popular cars. This compact crossover has enough storage space for families, and classically designed lines to please professionals. It also has great gas mileage for a car its size. The Rogue’s four-cylinder engine gets 26 miles per gallon in the city, and 33 on the highway, and has 170 horsepower.
This popular Nissan also has full airbags and stability control, as well as blind spot warnings, forward collision warnings, and lane departure warnings, keeping drivers and their passengers as safe as possible. There are several packages available, including the Family package, which adds a third row for more passenger space, privacy glass, and a panoramic moonroof.
Nissan Murano
The Murano is the most stylized car in Nissan’s repertoire, with eye-catching lines and elegant curves. An arching roofline means there’s more room inside, and its super quiet interior is a favorite for passengers. Plus, the Murano boasts lots of extra leg room, so passengers can spread out with ease. The birds-eye view camera allows for easy parking, keeping all passengers safe. Its stylized appearance has won it fans across the country, and it’s one of the sportier Nissan models available in the current lineup.
A wide response automatic transmission lends itself to better handling, while a powerful braking system allows the car to go from 70 to 0 in 178 feet. It’s 3.5-liter V-6 engine gets 21 miles to the gallon in the city, and 28 on the highway. The Murano comes in four trim options, each increasing in luxury: S, SV, SL, and the premium LE. All models are made of high-grade materials to ensure the lasting power of the vehicle.
Nissan Altima
Known for its affordability and comfort, the Altima has consistently remained one of Nissan’s most popular models. Available with either a V-6 or a V-8 engine, the Altima gets 22 miles to the gallon in the city and 31 on the highway, keeping pace with the more modern Murano and Rogue models.
Though a sedan model, the Altima has plenty of passenger room, and recent years have seen updates to the car’s internal systems. An upgraded SR package has better handling, and Nissan has also updated the Altima’s appearance to make it more modern and sleeker. Adaptive cruise control is perfect for those long road trips, and the car reaches the top speed of 131 miles per hour.
Nissan has proven itself to be one of the most reliable car makers in the United States, and these are but a few of the models this auto company makes.
