Which Nissan SUV is Right for You?

December 7th, 2016 by

nissanLooking for a quiet, controlled, and techy SUV? Nissan is sure to have what you need, no matter your size, space, and power requirements. Take a look at the four models in Nissan’s 2016 and 2017 SUV lineup and you’re sure to see something that fits your style.

Rogue

This Nissan Rogue is a compact crossover SUV, and it’s the first in the lineup to offer a third row for a total of seven seats. Versatile storage, an attractive appearance, a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 33 miles per gallon, and superior front seat quality are sure to please drivers. The Divide-N-Hide cargo system and eco mode are great for families with frequent grocery store trips. A rearview camera and advanced driver assist display are both included as well.

Murano

The Murano is slightly lower and longer than the Rogue, and is five-passenger only. Right in the middle of the five available SUVs, this Nissan crossover has no real weaknesses when it comes to efficiency, space, power, safety, or comfort. It has terrific visibility for all seat rows, thanks to its unconventional rear side window design, and comes with a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 260 horsepower and an efficient continuously variable transmission. Drivers who want more engine power and a classier interior might prefer the Murano over the more efficient and calm Rogue.

Pathfinder

The first of two full-size Nissan SUVs, the Pathfinder has seven seats and an easy-folding third row for extra space. Standard features include tri-zone automatic climate control, a 284-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine, an eight-inch color infotainment display with multi-touch controls, and SiriusXM TravelLink with weather, sports scores, traffic, and other types of live data. Intuitive 4×4 all-wheel drive is available for off-roading fans, and higher trims offer advanced safety technology such as distance-based intelligent cruise control.

Armada

At the peak of Nissan’s SUV lineup, the Armada is a big, tough-looking, full-size SUV loaded with premium features seen in the higher trims of luxury crossovers. Drivers have an eight-inch infotainment screen, a capable 5.6-liter V8 engine, front and rear sonar-based parking assistance, and a Bose premium sound system with 13 speakers all standard. An eight-way power driver seat with lumbar support provides the comfort for extra-long road trips, and capable 18-inch wheels are well-suited to curving mountain roads and muddy offroad paths alike.

We hope this gives you an idea of which Nissan SUV might suit you best.
