As if that wasn’t enough, Nissan has also refined the front and rear fascia wind deflectors, the shapes of the tire deflectors at all four corners, the rear spoiler, and more. Last but not least, exterior and interior badges have also been updated to reflect the brand’s new identity.

2023 Nissan LEAF Engine Options and Trim Levels

As for the 2023 Nissan LEAF engine options, the base S trim level is powered by a 40-kWh lithium-ion battery and 110-kW electric motor that delivers 147 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque and up to 149 miles of range. The more luxurious SV Plus, on the other hand, raises the bar with a larger-capacity 60-kWh lithium-ion battery, which increases the range to up to 212 miles. Better yet, the powerful 160-kW electric motor of the SV Plus produces 214 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque.
