Best cars for city parking

Going to downtown Seattle can be exciting. But like any big city, it can be a pain to find somewhere to park. Of course, this often depends on what you are driving as well. As you probably realize, having a bigger vehicle in the city makes life even harder – especially when trying to park. Often the only spots open are small enough where you don’t want to chance running into another vehicle. But if you has a small vehicle – say like the Nissan Versa – life in the city might be a lot better. That’s why we consider the Versa one of the best cars for city parking on the market.

At 14 feet, 7.4 inches long and 5 feet, 6.7 inches wide, the Versa is small enough to fit into some pretty tight spaces. And anyone that has driven the new Versa can tell you that it is pretty easy to maneuver into the tight spaces. You also don’t have to worry about going through too much gas with the Versa. It’s four-cylinder engine gets 31 mpg in the city – and an amazing 40 mpg on the highway. There is even good room for passengers and cargo thanks to 105 cubic feet of interior volume and 14.9 cubic feet of cargo capacity.

But if you need a bit more room, but are still into the small car thing, you should know there are other options within the Nissan lineup as well. The Nissan Cube is a great example. Some of the space of a crossover, but with better fuel efficiency and a smaller overall stature to allow it to get into some tight spaces.

The Juke also has a pretty modest footprint – and the Leaf is a great option for those wanting to get away from using gas altogether. The Leaf is actually a great city driver, with range up to 84 miles on a single charge.
