2023 Nissan Kicks Technical Specs & Safety Features
Back during the 2018 model year, Nissan introduced the North American market to its newest crossover utility vehicle. Replacing the popular Nissan Juke, the brand-new Nissan Kicks was and still is a subcompact crossover showcasing the innovative design and reliability inherent in any Nissan vehicle. Now half a decade later, the Nissan Kicks remains an exciting member of the lineup, and we’re excited to provide it to shoppers right here in Auburn, Washington. Let’s take a look at some of the technical specs and safety features found within the vehicle.

Performance & Efficiency
This entry-level crossover was not designed to be a racecar. It has enough power to deliver an enjoyable experience each time you hit the road, while hauling whatever cargo you need to bring along with you. This power comes from a 1.6L 4-cylinder engine tethered to an Xtronic CVT. It’s capable of generating 122 horsepower, but it manages to achieve 31 miles per gallon through the city and 36 mpg on the highway.
Cargo Space & Passenger Volume
Making sure that the cabin is still as spacious as a utility vehicle requires is one of the hardest feats engineers of subcompact crossovers must overcome. The Nissan Kicks manages to deliver up to 32.3 cubic feet of cargo space, thanks to 60/40 split-folding rear seats, or 25.3 cu. ft. with the back seat upright and filled. Up to five passengers, however, will have 92.6 cu. ft. of space in which to get comfortable whenever you hit the road.

Driver Assistance & More Safety Tech
There are, naturally, a ton of features that come both standard and available in the 2023 Nissan Kicks, but safety tech are some of the most important ones, so that’s where we wanted to focus for the rest of this blog. Like many Nissan vehicles, the Kicks comes standard with the Safety Shield 360. This suite of driver-assistive safety technologies includes Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Rear Automatic Braking, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning and High Beam Assist. These standard features are joined by many others, including a few available upgrades like Intelligent Cruise Control, Intelligent Driver Alertness, Intelligent Around View Monitor and more.
