2023 Nissan Armada Technical Specs & Available Features

The Nissan Armada has been building itself a reputation for nearly twenty years, as it was first introduced for the 2004 model year. One of the few traditional SUVs still in production here in North America, the full-size Armada definitely makes a great option for shoppers interested in that segment. Now that the 2023 Nissan Armada is available here at Rairdon’s Nissan of Auburn, we wanted to highlight some of its impressive technical specs and available features to show you exactly what you could be getting if you decide to get one of your own.

Technical Specs

Regardless of trim level, of which there are five to choose from, the 2023 Armada is powered by a 5.6L V8 engine that’s capable of generating up to 400 horsepower alongside 413 pound-feet of torque. The engine is tethered to a 7-speed automatic transmission that features a manual shift mode and Downshift Rev Matching technology. You will, however, be able to choose whether you want rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.

Another area you’ll be able to affect by your choices is the number of seats found within the vehicle, as you can opt for second-row captain’s chairs and reduce capacity from eight passengers down to seven. Behind the third row of seats, you’ll have 16.5 cubic feet of space to fill with cargo. If you have more stuff than passengers, then you might like to open up additional cargo volume. You can fold the third row flat to open up 49.9 cu. Ft., or if you need even more you can fold the second row as well to open up 92.6 cu. ft. In vehicles with a second-row bench seat, you’ll have a total of 171.1 cu. ft. of total interior volume, or 169.5 cu. ft. with captain’s chairs.

The Armada can accommodate a payload of up to 1,649 pounds in those varying degrees of cargo capacity, though this varies by trim level. You can also, however, tow with your Armada. It has a maximum towing capacity of 8,500 pounds.
