2016 Nissan GT-R Gold availability

It’s difficult to make the Nissan GT-R more appealing than it already is. But, Nissan appears to be on the brink of doing just that with the 2016 Nissan GT-R Gold Edition. The vehicle, which will be distributed in very low numbers, is being made in celebration of the car’s 45th anniversary. Typically, the golden anniversary is the 50th, but apparently Nissan wasn’t willing to wait with this one. After all, 45 years is pretty impressive in it’s own right.

As for the 2016 Nissan GT-R Gold availability, we’ll just say that you’re going to have to act very quickly to get one. Reports are that only 30 of them are going to reach the United States – so there will be a very select number that actually end up with one. But surprisingly, the cost of the car won’t be too much extra. The Gold Edition GT-R will only be priced $1,000 over the current MSRP of the sports car. So as it would seem, actually finding one may be more of a stumbling block to those interested than actually paying for one. If you can shell out the six figure price tag to buy one, we’re guessing the extra grand won’t hurt too badly.

As for the gold color of the car, it makes the car really pop. The Silica Brass, which is the official coating, isn’t exactly cheap and has the look and feel of real gold. That’s why the price tag seems almost reasonable considering the extras this version of the car is getting.
