The 2015 Nissan Versa Note SR is a sure hit
2015 Nissan Versa Note SR
While the Nissan Frontier Diesel may have stole the show (Chicago Auto Show) this year, there was one more release there that was definitely worth a mention. The vehicle we speak of was the 2015 Nissan Versa Note SR – a unique version of the wildly popular Versa Note.
What makes the new Nissan Versa Note SR different from the original Note? Well, let’s take a look at some of the styling cues. The Note SR features dark headlight treatments and fog lights with chrome accents that gives the car a very sporty look. The look continues down the sides of the car and is accented with the spoiler on the rear of the car. Of course, there is also SR badging on the car to let others know what you are dealing with.
It doesn’t stop at the exterior either, as the inside of the 2015 Nissan Versa Note SR has a leather-wrapped steering wheel, seats with accents, black instrument panel with accents and even a unique gauge cluster. It isn’t all looks inside either, as the custom seating is very comfortable – a nice thing for a car in the small vehicle category.
Under the hood, the 2015 Versa Note SR continues to offer the amazingly efficient engine that helped make the original Note such a hit. The 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine offers 109 horsepower while getting to the elusive 40 mpg figure in highway driving. Part of this efficiency comes from the engine being paired to a Xtronic transmission that makes the drive smooth and gives it a performance feel as well.
Wondering about the 2015 Nissan Versa release date? We are expecting it later in the 2014 model year – but we can keep you up on the exact details as they come together.
