2014 Nissan Rogue is being made in America

October 20th, 2013 by

You may have heard that Nissan is offering up a completely redesigned Nissan Rogue this year. But, did you know that it will also be made right here in the states? That’s right, the 2014 Nissan Rogue will be built at the Nissan Smyrna, Tenn. manufacturing facility. That means that the new Rogue, which will hit dealer lots next month, will get its final stamp of approval from American hands. This is a real source of pride for us here at Nissan of Auburn.

But it isn’t just the Rogue that is set to be an American-made Nissan vehicle. No, the company has been making cars right here on American soil for some time. In the Smyrna facility alone, cars like the Altima, Pathfinder, Sentra, Frontier and Xterra are made. And the company is looking to further its commitment even more, with more than 85% of the products sold in the states to be made here in 2015.

So obviously, this is an exciting time at Nissan of Auburn. Beyond the fact that the cars we sell will come from the hands of our neighbors, they offer a lot more for consumers as well. Take the new Rogue, for example. This highly anticipated model has expanded its interior to include seating for up to seven passengers. The additional third row of seating suddenly makes the Rogue an intriguing pick for a great number of consumers.

The upgraded interior comes along with a new look that is sure to turn heads. Nissan took the momentum that the Rogue has already been picking up in the last several years and greatly expanded on it with the redesign. The product is a vehicle that is ready to take the crossover world by storm.
