2014 Nissan Rogue dominates the safety tests
2014 Nissan Rogue Safety Ratings
The news keeps getting better for the Nissan Rogue. We already knew that the new 2014 version of the vehicle had cutting edge style and improved seating. But what good is a vehicle that can seat a lot of passengers if it isn’t safe? Well, luckily for anyone interested in the Rogue, it is safe. In fact, the 2014 Nissan Rogue recently achieved a rating of Top Safety Pick Plus, which is the highest available designation from the Insurance institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
The achievement is even more impressive when you consider the fact that the IIHS recently made its rating system even tougher. Basically, car companies have to be even more on their game when it comes to safety in order to achieve a top score. Obviously, the folks at Nissan don’t mess around when it comes to consumer safety.
You may be wondering what these 2014 Nissan Rogue safety features are. Let’s take a look at how you and your family are going to stay safe inside the Rogue. While airbags may come standard on all vehicles these days, Nissan took them to the next level. The Rogue features the Advanced Air Bag System. This is kind of complicated, so stay with us here. There are dual-stage supplemental front air bags, front seat-mounted side impact air bags and even a curtain side impact airbag mounted to the roof of the vehicle.
But before the airbags would even need to come into play, the Rogue is ready to help people avoid the accident in the first place with and Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection. This essentially provides a “bird’s eye” view of everything around the vehicle – a full 360-degrees. This helps keep the driver fully aware of all situations that may be around them.
It’s pretty easy to see why the 2014 Nissan Rogue safety ratings are so high. But if you want to see what the vehicle offers in person, all you have to do is stop over to Nissan of Auburn and see the new Rogue in person. We’ll be happy to show you around.
