THE sports car in the segment – the 2014 Nissan GT-R

There’s a certain attachment to high performance cars in America. It isn’t difficult to figure out – people like cars that look cool and go fast. While there may be a large selection of vehicles that fit this description, in our minds, one in particular stands out. And the one that we speak of is the 2014 Nissan GT-R. Built to go fast and look great doing it, the Nissan GT-R is for people that are very serious about their sports cars. And it even comes in at a lower price than many of the “designer brand” sports cars.

The process of building the engine alone is insanely impressive. It starts in a dust-free climate controlled room. In this room, one man builds the twin-turbo V-6 that becomes the power source of this awesome Nissan sports car. But this isn’t just any man, as it is a master engine-builder that painstakingly assembles the engine to perfection. The result of his work is a 545 horsepower beast of a six-cylinder that blows away others in the V-6 realm.

The detailed crafting of the vehicle goes to the next level as well. Instead of open working elements on the underside of the car, the GT-R has composite panels that allow it to have a flat surface underneath. This greatly improves aerodynamics, as the air flows freely underneath the car, instead of being caught up in the underworkings.

Inside, the great detail continues with the Recaro leather seats that offer comfort while also keeping you in place to optimize overall performance. Yes, with the Nissan GT-R, it’s difficult to not go fast. Of course, you should always obey posted speed limits.
